Imagine Finding A Safe Way to Become FREE from
These SIDE EFFECTS:
Diarrhea, Nausea & Vomiting, Gas, Risk of Lactic Acidosis, Weakness, Abdominal Pain, Headaches, Seizures and Even Death.

Perhaps, there is another Way.

One of our members told me their story last week. It’s typical of all of us.

He is a butcher for 35 years and for the first time cuts his hand and needed 12 stitches.

One blood test leads to another and he is ruled a diabetic Type 2 with a meter reading of 220, an extra 30 pounds and the doctor is in his face with a program of drugs.

It seems to always be some unplanned “event” in our life that forces us to change the whole picture.

In his case he was down this past 3 years ago. He defeated the blood sugar and diabetes after experiencing one month of prescription side effects. He beat it once, and he was going to beat it again. He knew what to do.

Our Butcher also was keenly aware of the risks of Prescription Drugs.

He had been googling the dangerous side effects of the top diabetic drugs; it is all over the Internet – Metformin and on. In blogs, people are looking for safe supplements and need some guidelines to help them select the supplements that are safe.

Like everyone he re-read Warnings on the Prescription Drugs that the doctor had given him, and voted for a natural course of food (diabetic diet), Weight Loss and natural supplements.

He had found an interesting article titled “Diabetics Looking for an Alternative Way to Get Their Health Back.”

The Heart of the Article: Tips: 3 things to look for in choosing a natural supplement for blood sugar control”

The American Diabetes Association gives this advice:

Tip #1: Find a Supplement That Has Been Tested

Many natural supplements make claims about sugar control. But few have documentation that they really work. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has less control over Non-prescription drug suppliers than it does with “Big Pharma” or pharmaceutical industry. So it’s definitely a “buyers beware” world. One way to reduce the risk of taking ineffective or harmful supplements is to evaluate the test that supports claims made.

Tip #2: Make Sure the Supplement Is Natural

There are a lot of products on the shelves or found on the Internet that claim to be “natural” or “herbal”. Look closely at the ingredient label. You’ll find things that aren’t natural, like fillers, starches and other ingredients that have no active benefit. One of the most effective products available is chromium. The right form (such as polynicotinate or niacin-bound chromium), in the right dosage (clinically-tested dose) works well in lowering blood sugar levels. The wrong form (such Chromium chloride), in a diluted levels, has no benefit to diabetics. In fact, one highly touted version, called picolinate has caused concerns that it may be unsafe to use.

Tip #3: Seek Verification of Ingredients

One of the most common questions our company gets is “how do I make sure I’m getting the right chromium and dose level?” Based on clinical evidence, polynicotinate or niacin-bound Chromium is the most effective and safe version to use. It’s been GRAS approved (meaning Generally Recognized AS Safe) by independent test firms, and extensive clinical studies and Harvard, Creighton and other reputable medical institutions show that it is effective. But that doesn’t guarantee that the correct dosage levels are provided by the manufacturer. Look for certification, such as the USP or NF symbol on the product label. This ensures that what’s stated is what is in the bottle.

But it’s very important that diabetes sufferers closely scrutinize the ingredients, dose level and source and reputation of the manufacturer, before switching to a non prescription drug alternative.

It’s also strongly urged that diabetics talk with their doctors first, before adding a supplement to their blood sugar control regimen.

When I talk to the Butcher again he will have defeated blood sugar and diabetes for a second time.

Additionally, in getting to know him I found that he has a supportive family. If you are lucky, you and your whole family will take up the “new diabetic program” …lifestyle and all.

Family cooperation is the most wonderful way in the world to get it started. You will be great reinforcements for each other to withstand the counterproductive pressures of your workaday lives, avoiding the dangerous foods hiding in the SuperMarket and to withstand any early backsliding that may occur. You can plan your meals together, plan your exercise together, and in general enjoy a much-heightened bond of family fellowship. Remember the natural herbal healthy supplements to drive the nutrition.
